INWED 2024: Enhanced by engineering

Meet some of Team SKA's women in engineering, whose skills and experience are helping to construct the SKA telescopes.

To celebrate International Women in Engineering Day (INWED) in June 2024 and its theme "enhanced by engineering", we spoke to engineers working across our three sites in Australia, South Africa and the UK about their backgrounds, what they love about their roles, and how their work contributes to a broader positive impact in society.

International Women in Engineering Day is organised by the Women’s Engineering Society and is celebrating its 11th year in 2024.  Its goal is to create visibility for women in engineering and encourage more women and girls to take up careers in the field. Find out more here.
